Coastal Conversations: Between Tide and Paper
Not all learning begins with a class.
Sometimes it begins with a conversation.
Coastal Conversations is an evolving series of studio gatherings that bring together art and different ways of understanding the world through conversations with guests from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines.
Our first gathering, Between Tide and Paper, is created in collaboration with ecologist Emily Gottlieb.
Together, we'll explore the connections between creativity, ecology, and place through seaweed pressing, coastal stories, and conversation inspired by the Monterey Bay shoreline.
