Creative
mentorship

Turn ideas
into real work.

Creative Mentorship helps youth and adults develop their creative voice and agency, turning curiosity into projects through a reflective, project‑based studio process.

Mentees receive guidance, feedback, and dedicated time to explore, experiment, and bring their work to life, cultivating creative agency and confidence as mentees develop habits of attention, experimentation, and reflective practice.

Creative Mentorship invites you into a sustained, idea‑driven conversation

— the kind of practice artists return to again and again. Here, your curiosity becomes material, your questions become projects, and your process becomes learning.

What is Creative Mentorship?

Creative Mentorship is individualized, project-centered guidance for those who want to explore their own ideas with structure, support, and intention. Projects may involve visual art, design, writing, research, performance, or interdisciplinary work. The medium is determined by the idea, not the other way around.

Think–Do–Share Process

Mentorship follows a Think → Do → Share rhythm—where ideas are shaped through reflection, making, and thoughtful presentation—mirroring how artists work in the studio and in life.

Who it's Best for
What happens in a session?

Each session is a reflective, idea‑driven conversation rooted in your progress, questions, and next creative step.

  • explore where your project is now and what you’re noticing

  • reflect on discoveries, challenges, and new questions

  • shape next steps in a way that honors your curiosity and intention

Mentorship can take place during studio hours or by appointment.

Each session is guided by your goals and the current stage of your work.

What happens after a cycle?

At the end of a 4-session mentorship cycle, students have flexible paths to continue their creative journey:

  • Continue with another cycle to deepen their project and process.

  • Transition into a full-time or part-time studio program.

  • Explore a short-term course to try a new medium or project.

  • Pause and return later, keeping their ideas and progress ready for the next cycle.

Each path allows mentees to build on what they’ve discovered, explore new directions, and shape their learning according to their curiosity and goals.

Continuation is always by mutual agreement.

You choose the next step based on what feels most supportive.
