What is Creative Mentorship?

Creative Mentorship is individualized, project-centered guidance for those who want to explore their own ideas with structure, support, and intention. Projects may involve visual art, design, writing, research, performance, or interdisciplinary work. The medium is determined by the idea, not the other way around.

What happens in a session?

A typical mentorship session may include:

  • checking in on your project

  • discussing challenges or questions

  • reviewing work-in-progress

  • identifying next steps before the next session

Mentorship can take place during studio hours or by appointment.

Each session is guided by your goals and the current stage of your work.

What happens after a cycle?

At the end of a 4-session cycle, mentees may:

  • continue for another cycle

  • transition into a studio program

  • join a short-term course

  • pause and return later

Continuation is always by mutual agreement.

You choose the next step based on what feels most supportive.
